Shortly after, North Atlantic and St. Kilda wenb up to the leade,r, on whom tho whip was out). Ab the entrance to the straight, North Atlantic, Yattenteldfe, and So. Kilda were all on level terms, and a great race down the straight was witnessed. Dreamland was the first to give way with St. Kilda, and leb Purepo come up. Half-way down tho .straight, Westmera came with a late run, coming through his field in fine stylo, nnd. passing firat Dreamland, Purepo, and Yabtenfeldb, endeavoured to reach North Atlantic, who won all oub by alongth from the Wanganui horse, with Yattenfeldt a length away, third. Time, 2min 53 2,5 th KBC. Dividend, £40 173.

Ab the turn into the straight Forme was seen to be rushing through her field, and cries went up thab the Guineas winner would get home. When fairly in the straight Nixie died away, and Allan-a-Dale made a strong effort, bub could not get up to Doris, who won comfortably from him by two lengths ; Forme a couplo of lengths away, third. Time, lmin 22sec. Dividend, £4 4s. Prairie Grass won the Post Stakes, paying a-£2 12s dividend.
