WALES ASSEMBLY.
j Sydney, this day. The Legislative Assembly, by 58 to 13, affirmed the principle of female suffrage. The Premier, in supporting the proposal, said the conntry had not given its mandate to alter the constitution in the direction required, or shown anything but apathy in the matter. Sir George Dibbs announced his conversion in favour ot woman suffrage. Sir H. Parkes also supported the motion.
