The French ship-of-war Duchaffaulb, arrived in Suva on Monday morning, Augusb 20th, from Chili, South America, having visited mosb ports by the way. She left for Noumea next day.

The Three Rings were abeam at 1.20 p.m. on the 2nd September, rounded North Cape 6.40 p.m. same date, and arrived at wharf as above, having experienced S.S. W. and S. W. winds with heavy swell tillrounding North Cape, thence S. W. breeze and clear weather to arrival. The s.s. Tasmania has on board 28 valuable horses, which are in splendid condition. ■•- Shortly after paid night on Saturday, the s.s. Kotomahana, from Sydney, berthed at Queen-street Wharf. Mr Salveson, the purser, reports that she left Sydnoy at 6 p,m. on the 28th ulb., rounded the North Cape ab 10.25 a.m. on the Ist insfc., and made faßt to the wharf at 12.30 o'clock on Sunday morning. She had strong S.W. breeze and equally weather, with heavy beam sea, to early on Ist insb., thence strong westerly breeze and agually to arrival. At midriig^t oh the 31^6 a steerage passenger gave Birth to a male child.
