The Pitt-atreeb Literary Society's meeting waa held last night. Mr Ambury was in the chair. The-Journal was presented by Mr Adams. Amongeb the itemß were "Skit upon the Members of the Union Parliament," an able paper on " The Drama and a Romance," by an embryo poet. Other items were " Gleaninga from the Review of Reviews," " Pessimism," "Lower Animals," and a "Character Sketch."
