THE MARAROA—A GOOD PASSAGE.
After a very smarb passage of aboub 3 days 19 hours from Sydney bhe s.s. Mararoa arrived ab the wharf ab 1.25 o'clock this afternoon. Mr Bourne, bhe purser, reporbs that she lefb bhe U.S.S. CompanyWharf, Margareb-sbreeb, ab 5.5 p.m. on bhe 2nd, cleared Porb Jackson Heads ab 5.35 p.m., when a course was shaped for bhis porb, where she arrived as stated, having passed the North Cape ab 11.50 p.m. on bhe sth, and Tiribiri ab 12.5 p.m. on 6th. Strong southerly winds generally prevailed during the ruri across, with heavy beam seas and occasional rain squalls from land to land; fine brighb weabher wibh smooth seas prevailing along bbc coasb.
