DEATH OF MR S. M. HEREPATH.
The many friendß of Mr Samrael Marah Herepath will learn with deep regreb of his death at the comparatively early age of 37 years. Mr Herepath is well-known in this city, having been born here. When he completed his education in Auckland he went Home to study as an archibecb, and upon returning some years later joined with his father, the late Mr Philip Herepath, in the firm of Herepath and Son, architects. The deceased was also an organist, and until within the last year filled that position ab the church of the Epiphany, Karangahape Read. Mr Herepath was alao a member of the Maaonic fraternity, and three years ago was elected W.M. of Ledge Prince of Wales, J3.C. He was also Part-Principle of the Royal Arch Chapter, and ab one time actod &a Grand Sword Bearer in the District Grand Lodge, E.G. Last Monday week Mr Herepath was engaged ab tbe offices of the Board of Education, bub waa compelled to go home in consequence »i feeling unwell. His cold turned to inflammation of the lungs, and lasb night hemorrhage of the lungs set in and culminated in death. The ds> ceased was tho oldest son of the late Mr P. Herepath. His mother survives him, also hie brother, Mr John Herepath, while bis wife and three children aro loft/ to mourn their loss. The interment takes place to-raorrow ab the Purewa Cemetery.
