NEW ZEALAND RUGBY UNION.
(BY TKLEGRAriI. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Wellington, this day.
At bhe meeting of the New Zealand Rygby Union Management Committee on Saturday evening, the charges made against the Wellington representative team by the Nelson Union were considered. The Committee decided that there had been unnecessary rough play, and that much of the ill-feeling had been caused by the similarity of uniforms, and also from the fact thab the capbain of the Wellingbon team bad failed to control his men. The Committee thought that the Nelson Union was to blame for not providing an efficient referee, and decided that McKenzie, who was capbain of Wellington, be not again allowed to act as captain of the representative team during the pleasure of the Union.
