Just a year ago to-day— To tell it gives us pain— ■ Since our dear mother was nm over At Drury by the train. v oh f what pain she must have suffered, And yet her pain it soon was ocr; For the angels called her quickly ~.;■/. To the bright for evermore. • Oh! our home is dark and dreary. And our hearts are sad to-day. For the ons we loved so dearly Has for ever passed away. She has gone, but w» Bhall meet her— Yes we shall meet her by-and-bye; And In heaven with joy to greet her, > Up above the bright blue sky.
