trim, ft credib to Captain Hutchinaon, who commands her. The barque lefb Sharpness on February 20th, and on the run down the Channel met with light easterly winds, followed by a heavy W.S. W, gale in the Bay of Biscay, which lasted several days. The An tares was off Cape Finistere on February 25th, picking up the N.E. trades in lat. 27 north, and leaving them behind three degrees north of the line which was crossed on Thursday, March 24. The S.E. trades ware met with in latitude 2 degrees south, carrying the barque to latitude 27 south. The Cape of Good Hope was rounded April 25tb, end variable winds experienced in the Indian Ocean till June 6th, when a heavy gale from the N.N.W., with terrifically squally weather, high confused seas, and thunder and lightning, was met with, in which the barque hove to frr two days under the lower main toosail. The Three King were sighted last Monday, and light, southerly winds prevailed on the run down the coast and to arrival in harbour ab 6 a.m. to-day, The Antares is to be berthed on Monday, when the discharge of her cargo of salb will be commenced.
