Takapuna, s.s., Grant, from Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth. Passengers:—Mesdames Cameron and 5 children, Mills, Brown, Misses Thomas and Gallagher (2), Rev. Leal, Dr. Burns, Messrs Fowlds, Denby, Horwood, Thompson, Allen, Wallace, Turner, Wilson, Dryden, Ledger, Weston, Carrow, Lang, McLellan, Paaake, Mills, Kempthorne, Gray, Bain, Cook (2), Mclncosh, and Burgesa.
The 8.8. Takapuna arrived from Southern porta at 8 o'clock last night, with the Southern portion of the San Francisco mail, having met with fine weather on the coast. Gairloch, b.s., McArthur trom New Plymouth. Passengers: Mrs Hall, Messrs Wills, Stanley (3), Gibbs, Crow, Melville, Mendleasohn, Wilcox, Waller, and 3 steerage. The 8.8. Gairloch arrived from New Plymouth at two o'clock this afternoon with 222 sheep and general cargo.
