Mr De Little was returning |£ ■ town when he was met 300 yards from the spot by the police with blood running down bis chest. He returned to town, and Ji'fo. three stitches put in the wound. Tha police traced the Chinaman by his dog and ' arrested him. Hewas charged with killing sheep and wounding witb intent, and hf will bo brought up to-morrow. Mr De Little bad a narrow escape for kh life, v half an inch closer would have severed, ft*' artery. ;
