At the adjourned meeting of the Port Chalmers Licensing Committee ib was decided to refuse the application of William Hume, for the Commercial Hotel, and Archibald Aingee, for the Railway Hotel. ' As one was refused ao the previoua meeting thia makes 25 per cent reduction. Invkrcaroill, thia day. Mr Justice Denniston has made a mandamns by consent ordering the InTercargill Licensing Committee to hear and determine the application of T. A. Patchett for « license for tb« Stag's Head Hotel. '
