The principal event is the Challenge Stakes, in which 120 doers will take part, including several from Victoria. Th 6 winner is to receive £125 and a gold medal; the runnerup, £50 ; two dogs ab £21 each ; seven at £6 ; fifteen ab £3 ; total, £344. After .the draw last night the list was called over, and the following offered and accepted : — 100 to 10 against Stormy Petrel ; 100 to 7 Verdi; 100-to 6 Lord Zetland, Bequeath, Clements' Tonic, Royal, Thorn ; 100 to 5 Presentment, Royal, Scene, .Sweet Briar, Merchant ; 100 to 4 Lancashire Lad, Lucia, Ravenswing, Stormy, Day, Boadicea, P»ne Hut, Douglas, Watch, Loth and M'aletresa ; 100 to 3 to 1 others.
