THE MARIPOSA.
The Oceanic Company's fine mail steamer Mariposa arrived aboub 2 o'clack this morning from San Francisco, via Apia and Honolulu. Mr Smith, the purser, reports leaving tbe American., porb on April
sth ab 6.45 p.m., contract date. Tbe Honolulu pilot was picked up on the 12th inst. early in the morning, the steamer resuming her voyage about 6 p.m. tbe same day. Apia was called off on April 19th, and after a tire hours' stay the Mariposa sailed tor Auckland direct, arriving as above. Throughout) the run across the Pacific, extending over a little more than twenty days, exceptionally hoe weaiher was experienced. The Mariposa is timed to leave for Sydney at 4 o'clock this afternoon. She takes tbe following passengers from Auckland, as well as through ones from San Francioco :—Miss Imray, Mesdames, Hol» gate, Morton, Messrs Imray, James, Holgate, Morton, Vanderbllb and valet, and Moss.
