DESTROYED.
GREAT LOSS OF LIFE,
Athens, April 22. Severe earthquakes have been felt in various parts of Greece, and much damage was done at Volo, Larieasa, Thebes, Allantia, and Chalcis. The earthquakes resulted in serious loss of lite, and many villages were complebely deabroyeJ. Many of the villagers are camping in the fielda. A warship has been despatched to Abtlanbia bo relieve the distress.
