Messrs Hunter and Nolan reporb tha" a steady demand has existed for grain' seeds, horse feed, etc. Notwithstanding that there has been an over-supply, there has beon no greab alteration in value. We quote : Maizo, 25.6 d bushel ; oats, 2s 2d to 2a 4d bushel ; wheat, 2s 6d to 2s 8d ; oaten chaff, £1 15s to £2 5s ton ; ryegrass, 4s 6d to 4s 9d bushel; cocksfoot, 7s 6d to 8a 6d. The demand for horses has been less keen, arid barely an average number havo been broughb forward. There has been little or nb alteration in value We quote : Heavy draught, £14 10s to £25; medium draught, £12 108 to £17 15s ; light harness, £5 10s to £12 15s ; hacks, £4 to £8 10s ; heavy draught colts, unbroken, £15 10s to £23 10s. Moderate quantities of wool, hides, skins, tallow, bones, were picthed ab bhe Durham Yards on Tuesday, and a good demand existed.
