The Jeannie Pierre.
Wellington, March 17.—1t is understood that the barque Jeannie Pierre, which lefb Newcastle on March 13th for Wellington, has been purchased by the Blackball Coal Company, with the intention of converting her into a bulk to be stationed in this port. For some time past she has been laid up at Newcastle The company intend purchasing another vessel for similar use at Wellington. The Tauranga. Wellington, March 17.—H.M.s. Tauranga leaves for Auckland direct on Wednesday next. R.M.S. Oroya. Albany, March 19.—Arrived : Oroya. Passengers for New Zealand: Meßgrs Belfrage, Brown and wife, Rev. Cook and wife. '
