FILLIS'S CIRCUS.
NEVV PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT.
Fillis's Circus and Menagerie continues to attract and amuse thousands of adults and juveniles. The huge tenb was packed in all parts on Saturday afternoon with youth of all sizes, and it is needless to say that tbey thoroughly enjoyed the peformauce. On Saturday night there was also a very large attendance at the Circus. The Peoloy Family stand out far before any acrobats thab have visited Auckland. The many acts that they peform are entirely new, and one and all are of a clever and daring Character. The horses in the Circus are also particularly well trained, and reflect credit on Mr Fillis's tuition, while a feature of the whole performance is the quickness with which act after act succeeds each other.
Quito a budget) of novelties have been announced by Mr Fillis for the last nights of his stay. To-nighb he will introduce his thrilling espieode " Dying to Save the Colours," an incident founded on the Zulu war. There will also bo a standing-up riding competition for a purse of silver, when those Who imagine it an easy task to keep their balance on a circus horse, will have an opportunity of displaying'their ability. To-morrow evening will be devoted to a benefit for the Jubilee Blind Institution, and on Wednesday afternoon tbo last matinee will be given. In the evening Madame Fillis will be tendered a complimentary benefit. On Thursday night a valuable horse is to be given away, and on Friday a pony will be presented. To afford everyone an opportunity of witnessing the circus before it departs, a limited number of seats will bo piovided at Is, commencing from to-night.
