NAVAL DISASTER.
Berlin, February 17. By the bursting of the sbeampipe on board the cruiser Brandenburg at Kiel 39 were killed instantly and nine injured, and of bhese two have since died. The enbir* engineering staff wer* mangled in a heap. The accidenb occurred while the cruiser was engaged in a speed trial. The Kaiser has snub messages of condolence to the families suffering by the explosion on. board the Brandenburg.
