A WIDESPREAD PLOT.

The police made a «oarch of Bourdieu's lodgings, and found a quantiby of explosives. They also obtained access bo th& Anarchist Club, Great Lich field -street, and searched eighb foreign members as bhey severally arrived, bub no explosivea were discovered. However, much information, including a manifeato headed "Death to President Carnoc!" which has already been circulated in France, was obtained. Afterwards tho police withdrew from tho club, and are now engaged searching the lodgings of many foreigners sunpocted of being connected with bhe Anarchisbs. The object of the raid is to secure Anarchists.
Two French Anarchisbs were arrested on landing ab Dover. The police have discovered photos of public men and buildings in France and England amoDg the papers taken from the lodgings of Anarchißta. The entire detective force of London ia inquiring into Anarchism. Tho police reserve havo received notice to hold themselves in readiness for duty. The papers seized ab bhe Anarchist Club prove it to be the' centre of the European outrages, Bourdieu who was travelling with his brother, had received large sums of money from the club's fund, and ib is known tbab ho was on the moab inbimabe terms with Henri. , , Ib is believed thab tho drastic measures which are to be taken by the police for the repression of Anarchists wilt have the desiredeffecb. Paris, February 17. The Anarchist Henri attempted to enter several bhaatres and fasbionablecafes before bhrowing bhe bomb in the Cafe Lazaire of ; Che terminus Hotel.
