DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB MEETING,

DtJNEDiN, this day. At Forbury this morning Dilemma and Long cantered with Hfppomenes for two miles. King Wai and Twedina covered raix furlonga, and Wolfe Crag and Ambush nix furlongs fasb, the former shaping badJy. Persuasion cantered, and so did Cajolery, the latter Beemingly sore. Prime Warden and Libernbor compassed a mile and a half fast, the latter pleasing the bouts beeb, though Prime Warden seems to be well. Casket was better than Claremonb over half a mile, and Leona was better bhan Mariner over six furlongs. Empire and Clarence did useful half-pace work. Ich Dien and Melinite covered n brisk two milea together. Blue Fire covered half a mile fairly fasb. Tempest beat Alderehob over a mile, and was afterwards joined by Cactus for half a mile; the latter winning. Tempest's gallop was the fastest of the morning.
