Ib recommended, re the motion of the "Bay, Seth Smith relative to undenominational Sunday services for the young, that the matter be brought up again next year. A further recommendation was thab the reporto of the Gore Church be forwarded to the Council for the information of the Colonial Mission Society, London. The Wellington Mission.—The following resolution was adopted by the Council, after discussion: "Thab thia Council desires to pub on record its sympathy with, and encouragement of, the work carried on by the Rer. C. H. Bradbury and the Rev. E. A. Evans in Wellington, and recommends our churchea and individual members to render them what material aid is in their power." The Rev. Mr Bradbury replied, thanking the Council and said bis colleague and himself would be much encouraged by the sympathy expressed. Church Statistics.—The Rev. B. L. Thomas read the supplementary report to the, Registrars, furnishing statistics of the denomination. It showed thab in 1892 there was a membership of 1,850 in the colony, and in'"ls93 the membership was only 1,794, but the average attendance at the churches had increased by 258 this year. The number of Sunday-school teachers had increased by two, and the scholars by 33. Sites.—The report of this Committe as submitted by the R«v. Seth Smith recommended that 16 of the sites held by. the Union be Bold. Pastors' Provident Fund.—Mr !w, H. Lyons reported thab £182 13s had been added to this fund, making a total ot £451 3s Id. ■'- ■-?-■ '-■ ■- - Jubilee FuNDi— The Treasurer reported that the total amount promised was £3,733, of which £2,142^ l^s had Libkary. — The Rey.
