Ab the Onehunga Police Court yesterday, before Mr Bush; R.M., Theresa Constancy Bued John Clarke for maintenance of a cnild. Mr Heßketh for plaintiff and M r Fred Bhortland for the defendant. Misa Uonatance deposed that the defendant was tha father of her child. Defendant had offered her 5s per week, but no expenses, which were about £9. Mr and Mrs Constance, Mr Smyth, and others haviuc; given evidence, the case wae again, adjourned to cbe Z&fth. .
