ALLEGED FRAUD.
At tbe Polioe Court this morning, before Messrs T. Tudehope and A. Walah, J. P.'a., three Persians named James Millar, Frank Smith (alias Shynn) and Frank Jackson (alias Millar, alias Smith) were charged on remand with having on the 17th of January, 1894, ab Auckland, unlawfully, fraudulenbly and deceibfully conspired and agreed bo cheab and defraud of their goods certain firms and persons to wit Messrs Wm..McArthur and - Co., John Trenwith and Abbott, Owen and Co. Mr H. Campbell, instructed by Messrs Cook and Gray, appeared for the prosecution, and Mr J. O'Meagher tor Millar and Smith.
On the application of Mr O'Meagher the case was remanded to Wednesday next, whea Mr H. W. Norbhcroft, R.M., will sib on the Bench.
