CIVIL SITTINGS.
(Before His Honor. Mr Justice Conolly.) A Dispute Over Blood Stock.—Jamea Alfred Koliy v. Josiah Tutchen.—This was a claim for the possession of certain blood stock and their offspring, or for £100 in case such possession cannot bo had, and for £10 damages for detention. —Mr Theo. Cooper appeared for plaintiff and Mr Baurae for defendant.—Mr Baume said that Mr Tutchen was too unwell to be present. The question for the Court to decide would be the value of the horses, amount of damages for detention, and the question of costs.—The plaintiff deposed that he lived at Mount Albert, and was a skilled man with horses. The horses in dispute were a brown mare named Kit {by Dainty Ariel —Lady Julia); brown maro Leila (by Anteros — Kit); bay yearling colb by Ingomar out of Leila; and yearling chestnut iilly by Muskapeer out of Leila, about 14 days old. He valued tho whole at £110, and claimed £10 damages for detention. Witness went to Cambridge in September and again in November for poa session of the horses, but Mr Tutchen refused to hand them over. He claimed ex [louses for loss of time. —This was the whole of tho evidence,—His Honor tixen tho value of each animal as sworn to by plaintiff in his evidence, and gave judgment for plaintiff with damages, £10, and costs on the lowest scale.
DIVOKCE. Geokge Mcdonald (petitioner), Eliza bkth .McDonald (respondent,) and Patrick Daley (co-respondent). —On tiie motion of Mr liaume, tin. dtcrce nisi in this action in divorce tor dissolution of marriage, was made absolute. The Court then adjourned until 11 o'clock on Monday morning.
