Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons' Re' port.—Ab bho Haymarket during the past week meadow hay has ranged from ls 6d to 2s 6d; oaten sheaves, 2s the cwb; maize, 2a Gel to 2s 9d; oats, 2s 3d to 2a 6d the bushel; chaff, 37s to 50s ; bone dust, £2 12s 6d bo £68 5s bbc bon; on wharf, maize, 2a 7d the bushel. On Friday horses were entered in largo numbers, and sold freely ; heavy draught broughb from £17 to £23 ; medium draught, £12 to £lb'; lighb harness, £7 bo £14 each. Fat shorn wothers ranged from lis to 14s 6d ; owes, 9s to 13s ; hoggets, 7s 3d to 8s 6d each; lambs plentiful, bub many of inferior qualiby, 380 being yarded. Besb lambs sold freely at from 8a to lis ; inferior, slow of sale, at from 3a to 6s each. Pigs were numerous ; fairly-bred sbore pigs sold well; weaners brought from 11b to 13s ; porkers, 20a bo 23s 6d ; coarse pigs, 8s 6d oach, Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Report.—Grain, seeds, horaefeed, etc. : The supply has been sufficient for requirements and demands slow. We quote : Oata, 2a 7d to 2a 9d per bushel; maize, 28 7d to 2s 9d; bran, £3 per ton ; oaten chaff, £3 to £4 per ton. Horses : No strangers have been brought forward, and the demand was nob keen at the previous week's values. The number entered for disposal by auction at the Durham Yards, on Friday, were scarcely up to the average, bidding was moderately brisk and most of the lots were cleared. We quote hacks from £4 to £15 ; lighb harness and medium £5 17s 6d to £15 ; heavy draughb, £14 5s to £22. Wool, hides, skins, tallow, bones, etc. : Large quantibieswere pitched at thoDurham Yards on Tuesday. Competition was good ab the previous week's values. We quote: Extra stoub ox hides, sdbosid per lb; atout, $_d bo i_d ; medium, 2_d bo 3d ; cow and steer, l_d to 2_jd ; calf skins, 2£d to 3*d per lb; sheepskins, local, 2s 3d bo 4s 9d each; station skins, ls lOd to 4s 6d ; pelbs, 8d bo 10d ; lamb skins, la bo la 7d ; ballow, 15s 6d bo 18a 6d per cwb ; boneß, £3 bo £3 5a per ton. Cattle were again brought forward in limited numbers, bub the demand was languid, and there was no upward tendency in prices. The number yarded at Newmarkeb on Tuesday was bolow the average. There was steady demand throughout tbe sale for all descriptions withoub any noteworthy alteration in value. Beef sold at from 18s to 20s per 1001 b. Some averages of fab steers wero £8 os, £7 13s 9d, £7 7s 6d, £7 6s 3d. £6 19a 9d, £6 15s ; cowa scarce, £5 10s and £5. Sheep : Very few yarded, and all Bhorn ; wethers sold at from lis 3d to 13s 9d ; ewes, 8s 9d to 10a 9d ; lambs, from 5. bo lis 9d. Pigs : Very scarce; worth 2_ per lb live weight.
