LIMELIGHT DISPLAY
TO-NIGHT.
The final results we have arranged t° have sent to us from all over the colony as soon as they are declared. The Star has always mado the publication of these results a special feature of election day. As on former occasions, they will have displayed, by means of limelight, from the balcony of the journal's offices in Shortlandatreeo the particulars of each contest as they arrive. Portraits of the successful candidates in the case of the contests most interesting to Aucklanders will also bo shown on tbe screeu, while HUMOROUS CARTOONS illustrative of the campaign or its result will serve to keep tho crowds amused while waiting for the more important information from tho Returning Officers. It is anticipated that the first results will be received about eighb o'clock, when the public can bo on the look out to see them in Shortland-street.
