The fore and affe schooner Torea arrived • from Lyttelton this morning with a cargo of grain. She berthed at the Quay-street Jetty. The briganbine Stanley is, discharging her coal cargo at) Chelsea. She goes to llokianga on completion to load timber for Sydney. The 8.». Talune lefb Melbourne on the 12th snst., and called ab Hobarb and Southern ports, , and arrived here ab 6.30 p.m. yesterday. The barque Northern Chief is discharging her coals into the hulks in the stream. On completion, ehe goes u> the Kaipara to loud timber for Melbourne. The iron barque Gazelle goes into the Auckland Graving Dock this evening for an overhaul. She sails for Rocky Island on Saturday, ie charge of Captain Svoneden. After a fight against head winds alonK the coast for 17 days, the Auckland barque Kathleen Hilda arrived early this morning from New York via Wellington, with a part cargo of general merchandise. She starts discharging first thing to-morrow morning. Last night the 8.3. "Dungadee left for East Coast ports and Wellington, with a general cargo. This is her last trip in the Eaat Coast trade aB the Australia reßumesthe ranning to-day. The passenger accommodation of the latter steamer has been greatly enlarged and improved.
