SHOCKING FATALITY.

Dunedin, this day. John Evans, head miller ab Anderson's flour mill, in Princess streeb South, wa» carried round one of the shafts on the upper floor of the mill thia morning. He was carried round two.or three times, his head being crushed against a brick wall. The belt broke before the engine could be stopped, thus throwing him on the Boor. The man working alongside -tried to extricate him, unsuccessfully. Evana received fearful injuries both legs being broken. Evans died at a quarter to two. He f leaves a wife and child, the latter five days , old.
