Strahan waa backed to-day to win £5000 down to a 100 to 5. Oxide was supported to about the same extent down to 100 to 8. Mr Gollan'a colt Pounamu did a good milo ab Caulfiold this morning. His sbablo mate, Stornchaser, had a long spell of medium work, and appeared to be perfectly sound.
