AUSTRALASIAN ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.
A wire was received this afternoon by Mr B, J. Esam, the Treasurer of tha Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, from tho Secretary of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association stating that Mr T. B. O'Connor, Auckland, had been chosen to rcpresenb this colony at the first Australasian Athletic Championship Meeting, to be bold in Melbourne on Novomber 9bh and 11th. Mr O'Connor is the well-known footballer and athlete, and will compete in tho putting the woighb and throwing the hammer events.
