It is reported tho Democratic Senators have agreed to a compromise on the silver question, by which the Sherman Act will be continued for 18 months, and the issue of bond.'i limitod. Tho Sonate rosumos its sitting today. Tho Prdßidenb will meet the opponents of tho Repeal Bill in person. Senator Voorheos says thab tho fight has I only begun, and ultimately the victory of the opponents of tho Sherman Act is certain.
