Onions are dull of Balo. Prime local, ljd to lfd ; Victorian, lfd ; Calitornian, 2£d. Maize, more plentiful ; samples poor; best lots, 2s Gd to 2s 8d ex store, and 2s 4d to 2s 6d ox wharf. Fowl wheat, 2s lOd to 3s : bran, £3 10s; sharps, £3 15s ; pumpkins, 4s 6d to 6s ; green peas, 2s 4d per peck ; new kidney potatoes, ljd to 2d; Shepherd's, l|d; cucumbers, 4s 6d to 6s por doz. Butter, fresh moro plentiful; prime, 8d to lid; other lots, 5d to 7d. Keg buttor : Prime samples scarce at 6d ; poor quality plentiful ab 4d ; eggs, hen, 6d to 6|d ; duck, 6^d to 7d. Cheoso plentiful and dull of Bale: Prime factory, 4d to 5d ; loaf size, 6d. Bacon : Prime Canterbury, 7_d ; local, 7d ; poor, 5d to 6d. Hams : Local 6d lo Sd ; Canterbury, lOd to lid.
