Mr Geo. Hutchison is moving for further information as to salaries and travelling allowances of officers in the Railway Department. Mr E. M. Smith wishes the Government to offer a reward of £1,000 for a smokeless locomotive. He also wants to know if Ministers have received a report on New Zealand iron sands products exhibited at the Imperial Institute, and the report of Lloyd's test of New Zealand bar iron.
