OLD COLONISTS' RE-UNION.
A meeting was hold in tha V.M.C.A. rooms last nighb to make the necessary arrangements for a re-union of old colonists, on the lines of the gathering bo successful last year. Mr M. Niccol occupied the chair. Mr J. J. Craig, who last year filled the onerous duby of secretary, was asked tp again fill that office. Ib was decided to hold a concerb on or about the 9th Ocb. nexb, a Committee being appointed to carry oub the necessary arrangements. Ib was decided to have the parchmenb roll of names of old colonists (which ia to be placed in tho archives of tho Free Public Library) on view at the concerb. A list of names to be enrolled were submitted ab the meeting last night. There will also be shown ab the concerb the photographs of the group taken last year, together with tho great shield of "prominent" colonists. The matter of the desirability of having the Churton monument again seb up was raised,
