GRAMMAR SCHOOL BOARD PROPERTY.
(To the Editor.)
Sic,—From the tenor of your report of the lasb meeting of the Grammar School Board some might be led to believe that I had removed property that did not belong to myself. The facts are these : Some ten years ago I leased ab auction an allobment and an old building that was not habitable withoub extensive repairs, which I effected and which the Board have the benefit of. I also had a cottage erected on the fronb portion of the allotment. The terms of sale of said lease gave purchasers authority to remove buildings atexpirationof the term. Tho old building I have left aa not being worth the cost of removal. The building I erected I have removed. The terms of eale can be proved on oath at any time if necessary by a number of men who were purchasers of similar properties on that occasion.—l am, etc., C. Wood.
