TEN THOUSAND POUNDS MISSING.
ARREST .IN SYDNEY,
Sydney, thi3 day. Mr Deew, member of bhe well-known mercantile firm Macßeady, Drew, and Co., of Molbourne, has been arrested on a charge of being concerned in the embezzlement of £10,000. The firm were agents for a Paris firm, who sent oub an agenc to investigate accounts, with tho result that £10,000 is found to bo unaccounted for. Macßeady is believed to be in London, and Bruco, auother partner, haa gone to Natal,
