ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.
A NARROW ESCAPE.

Invercargill, this day.
Yesterday, while a man named Carey, employed ab the Ocean Beach Freezing Works, was engaged cutting scrub, he was shot through the loft arm by a boy who fired ab an object, and, being a considerable distance away, did not see Carey. Luckily, only a flesh wound was inflicted, and the bullet has been extracted.
