Mahinapua, s.s., Newton, for the South. Passengers s—Miss James, Messrs J, A. Jagger, R. Morris, J. A. Johnson, Houghton, R. H. Baft, E. Hayward. The Northern Company's s.s. Gairloch, sailed for New Plymouth yesterday afternoon with a mixed general cargo and several passengers.
The Union Company's s.s. Mahinapua, Captain \V. .1. Newton, for the South, with a mixed cargo, besidss passengers and the Southern portion of the inward San Fiancisco mail ex Alameda, took her departure at 12.30 to-day.
