S.s. Southern Cross arrived from Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Tologa Bay last night, after a fine weather passage. A large quantity 0! wool and tallow was transhipped from the s.s. Southern Cross into the "barque Rnngitikei for London today.
The barque Queen, now on her way over here from Newcastle, loads for New York, under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company.
The brigantine Gleaner completed her loading of timber ab Whangareifor Noumea on Wednesday, and was towed down the river the earns day; She is to sail to-day.
The s.e. Taviuni arrived afc an early hour this morning from Wesfcport with a cargo of poala which sbe was discharging to-day imp the hulks in the stream/ She exyerienced fine weather 00 the coast! - f
