Chkistcurkch, this day. At a meeting of the North Canterbury Education Board Mr E. G. Wright, M.H.R., was elected Chairman. It was stated that the building account was in debib to the amount of £106. In consequence of severe treatmenb of a child by a country schoolmaster, it was decided to post in every school a copy of the regula* tion on corporal punishment.
