ARREST OF AN OFFICIAL.
Melbourne, this day. An official of the Imperial Bank (in liquidation) has been arrested on a charge of embezzlement. It is alleged that grave irregularities have been discovered in connection with the institution.
A warrant has been issued for the apprehension of another official on a similar charge.
