BROKEN HILL STRIKE.
Sydney, November 11.
The Broken Hill Defence Committee are besieged with applications for relief. Various unionist bodies in tho colonies have promised to render financial assistance. The mine owners have declined to meeb bhe representatives of the men at a conference, as they do not see that any good purpose will be served by such a gathering.
