Glenolg, s.s., Austen, from New Plymouth. Passengers: Messrs Wright, Brown, Joll, Hart, Mason, McMillan (2), aud bwo steerage. Mahinapua, s.s., Newton, from tho South. Passengers : Mesdames Mills and 2 children, Hirsb and daughter, Rows, Misses Ayros, Galwain, Hoffman, Messrs Gray, Johnston, Atkinson, Mack, Jonec, Dickson, Robinson, Parkinson, White, Callaghan, Goold, Underwood, Allun, Johnston, Thompson, Darrach and <"» steerage.
The Northern Company's s.s. Glenelg, from New Plymouth, arrived early this morning, with a general cargo and passengers as above. The Union Company's s.s. Mahinapua, Captain W. J. Newton, from Wellington, Nelson and Taranaki, arrived at 12.15 p.m. to-day. She left Wellington at 10.5 p.m. an the 11th inst., arrived at Nelson at 9.30 am. on the 12th inst., left again for Taranaki at 11.30 a.m. same day, arriving there at 3.15 a.m. on the 13th.instant; left for Manukau again at 10.30 p m , crossed the Bar at 10.40 a.m. on the £S instanc, and reached the wharf at 12 15 p.m. Experienced h ß ht, variable iinde, with moderate sea, throughout.
