Pjjrth (W.A.), September 4. 111-luck still hangs to tho barque Laira, which loft Duncdin for Fromantlo on April 19, and experienced a sovere gale on tho 23rd and 24th of tho *umo znonth, in which she sustained considerable damage, necessitating hor putting into Hoburb for repairs. After leaving Hobr>.rb sho mob with fair weather, and arrived here ) bub yesterday her commandor (Captain Hughes) was killed by a load of timber crushing him.
