Mr. Alexander Aitken's Market Retort.—Poultry has been penned in large quantity; values were unchanged; fab table fowls, ls 8d to 2s 3d; good ordinary, Is 4d to Is 6d ; poor, etc., 8d to Is 2d ; ducks, ls 3d to 2s 4d ; geese, 2s to 2s 6d ; turkeys, gobblers, 3s to 8e ; hens, 2s to 4s 6cl; pigeons, 6d to 9d ; caDarie9, 4s 6d to 158 each. Pigs penned in good numbers; best breeds, 10s 6d bo 15a ; others, 4s 6d to 9a. Dead rabbits, 2s per pair. Horse, carb, and harness, £15 10s ; covered spring cart, etc., £18. A small homestead on the East Coast was disposed of at £550 cash.
Mr Thornes, land agenb, 81, Queen-streeJ, reports tho sale of a property in Mae-kelvie-streot, Ponsonby, lot 7 of allotment 67, having 52 feet frontage to Mackolviestreet, with six-roomed house thereon to Mr W. M. Cooke, on behalf of Mr W. A. Smith, of Bothwell Park, for £475 cash.
