The schooners Torea (Captain Harries), of Auckland, a»\d Dolly (Captain Piltz)of San Francisco, where both trading in tho Hervey group when the b.b. Richmond called ab Rarobonga.
Up to the time of our going to press there was no'sign of the s.s. Tarawera from Melbourne and Southern ports.
The echooner Ivanhoe (Captain Tribe) of Auckland, arrived at Tahiti on the 28th ult., from Flint Island, and loft again shortly afterwards for Flint and Caroline Islands, arid the Central Pacific guano stations, with Mr J T. Arundel on board.
