Stratford, this day. Clifton beat Waimabe ab Hawera by bwo goals and one try to one goal and one 4>ry, after a splendid game. Hawera and Manganui played a draw on the same ground, obtaining one try each. Bob Lusk scored for Manganui. (BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, this day. The weather was boisterous, and the games were played in ehowers of rain. Poneke beat Petone by 7 points to nil. Lee and Kelly scored tries, Ellison converting the latter. Wellington v. Athletic ended in a draw, each side scoring a try.
