MESSRS A. Buckland and Sons' Weekly Report. —Ab Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle maintained their late advance. Grown store cattle were lower in price fully 10s each. Calves, shorb of requirement, sold ab extreme values. Fat cattle, in less than usual number; 208 yarded, were better worth ls the 1001b. Sheop advanced in price ls each. Dairy cowa ab bheir profib brougbb from £4 to £7 5s ; forward in calf, from £3 15s to £5 10s; dry cows, 30s to 675; grown steers, £4 15s; three-year steers of pood quality, £3 ; the young bulls, from 25s to £5 153 each ; fab steers were from 183 to 21s; cows, 17s 6d the 1001b ; merino ewes, from 5s to 6s ; longwoolled ewes, 8s 6d to lis 3d ; wethers, 10s 6d to 18s ; mixed sexes, 12s 6d to 14s ; shorn hoggets, 5s to 7s 6d—in their wool, 8s to 10s each. Pigs wero generally in good condition, and kepb late values: Heavy pigs brought from £2 10s to £3 15s ; porkers, 19s to 35s ; coarse pigs, 7s 6d to 16s 6d each.

Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Report.—Horse-feed, grain, seeds, etc. : The supply has nob been in excess of requirements and prices remained firm, and in some lines there was a decided advance, maize reaching 2s per bushel; oabs, 2s to 2s 4d per bushel ; bran, £4 per ton; chaff', £2 10s to £2 15s per ton. Horses : Quite an average number offered and there was a steady demand, and for those of a really good stamp ib remained unsatisfied ; rather more than the usual number were entered for sale ab bhe Durham Yards on Friday; bidding was good throughout the sale, bub no high-priced horses were submibbed. We quobe : Hacks, £4 10s to £9 15s; lighbharness horses, £5.15s to £10 10s ; medium draught, £6 10s to £14 10s ; unbroken, £6 to £11 ; weeds, £1 4s to £2 10s. Wool, hides.skins, bones, tallow, etc. Barely average quantities weresubn_ifcted'on Tuesday, and sold ab the previous week's values. Stoub ox, 3^d bo 4Jd per lb; steer and cow, l|d to 3£d per lb ; calfskins, 3id to 5d per lb ; sheepskins, Is lid to 2slod each ; lambskins, ls 2d to 2s each ; pelts, 6d to Is Id each ; wool fleece, 6^d to 6|d per lb. Bones, £4 to £5 por ton. Tallow, 16s to 19a 3d per cwt. Cattle : The market has been quiet, and scarcely bhe usual numbers were brought forward. The Newmarkob pens were nob nearly filled on Tuesday. Competition was slow for bubchers' sbock, unless in prime condition; for all obher stock bidding was brisk. We quote: Calves, 15s to £1 ; yearlings, £1 to £1 12s 6d ; eighteen months-old steers, £2 to £2 7s 6d; grown steers, £3 10s to £4 12s Gd; dry cows, £1 15a to £2 ss. Some averages of fab steers were: £8, £7 - 12s 6d, £6 17s 6d £6 5s 6d, £6 3s 2d ; . cows, £5, £4 17s 6d, £4 17s, £4 12s 6d, £4 7s 6d. Sheep wero penned in increased numbers at Newmarket on Tuesday, and were steadily compebed for. Binney and Sons' Report. __On Tuesday we cleared an exbra large cabalogue of hides, skins, tallow, ebc. Compebibion was very brisk and late values were fully maintained throughout Hides, exbra stout ox, sold from 5d to 5*4; heavy stoub 4d to 4id ; heavy, 3^d to 3gd ; light, 2*d to 3d. Cow: Dry salted, 2Jd to 2-^d ; wet, 2d to o*d • slightly damaged, l^d to lfd .; kip, 2d to 2Ad ; calf, to 5Ad ; stags', Id to 2d per lb. Sheepskins : Local green, 3s 3d to 3s 7d for farce skins, medium, 2s bo 2s lOd, small 2s to 2s 3d, country lots from ls 9d to 3s each. Wool: Lambs', 6Jd per lb. Tallow : 1 rom 10s for inferior to 19s per nwb for good qualibv. Bones :£4 15s to £5 per ton.
