Since our last monthly report this markeb has again advanced, and prices ruling flnriug1 lasb month are higher than bbey have ever previously reached. A meeting of buyers and sellers was called on 12th inst. by the Gum Committee which was started twelve months ago. Sevoral of the largest buyers declined to attend, and the same Committee with one exception was re-appointed for bhe ensuing year. The exports since lasb mail are as follows: —Per Mariposa for San .Francisco 6 tons, per Alice, on 3th inst., 681 tons, and per Waimea, on 11th insb., 200 tons for New York, for which porb bhe Motley and Sb. Lueie are loading. The s.s. Tarawera, Aorangi, and Waihora took 128 ton 9 for London, and the Sardhana ia on bhe London berbh. The supplies from mail bo mail are aboub 610 tons. We quobe :— Fair ordinary £46 to £47 Unpicked ordinary £4S to £56 Poor ordinary £40 to £44 Easb Coaat ... .-• £78
